Mascore Helical Piles was contracted to install 54 helical piles to retrofit an existing building to become a new Service Canada location. A second floor was added to the existing building and helical piles were utilized to support the additional loads. Helical piles were also utilized to construct the new elevator foundation. The helical piles were installed approximately 15’ below grade to reach competent soil. The install took 2 days to complete.
