(8) Screw Piles were installed to support a waste water holding tank. The piles were installed to act in tension to hold down the tank to prevent heave forces. Brackets were installed on top of the piles to hold the existing footing of the structure down. The piles were installed from top of footing elevation which meant the piles were installed in an excavated area approximately 20’ below grade. A crane was used to mobilize the installation equipment to the install area as no direct equipment access was available.
